Freedom for Kosovo

Freedom for Kosovo

If it was up to Kosovo, province, they would elect tomorrow to be independent of Serbia (and may very well do that); at this point, the U.S. and European have agreed on one thing, if anything, they support their independence. Why they do, is a surprise to me, but it is the right thing to do, even if Russia doesn’t like it, and they don’t. The people of Kosovo want it also, as they remain under NATO and the UN protection, and for obvious reasons, the Serb’s do not get along with the Albanians (which make up 90% of Kosovo), thus, do we force feed them to once another? The province has elected their own leader, former rebel leader Hashim Thaci, elected leader that is, and they seem happy with their prime minister of parliament. It is like saying, let South Africa, be run by the whites again, when 90% of them are black. So why let Serbia run Kosovo. I think it would be best for all parties to give in, let Kosovo run their own government. Serbia is getting like China, who wants to run Taiwan and think they own Tibet simply because they are nearby. Kosovo is like an old drunk, for them to change their minds, you got to give them something better than what they want, or plan on getting, and Russia and Serbia do not have that formula, other than muscle and might is right, but it tells its neighbors, like Poland, they are right to want to have the US Missile deterrents on their soil. Who will come to their rescue if they don’t? Not Western Europe, only a US run NATO. I say to Serbia and Russia, let Kosovo be its own self, and you will most likely have a good friend nearby, and should you not, remember the Alamo.
