The Mutilation of: Little Boy Blue (Dedicated to Charles Taylor)

Little Boy Blue—

came screaming, and running and asking what he had done wrong –
he was dragged to a log, like a chicken or hog
Got pinned down by little soldier boys, in Sierra Leone’s war.
Commanders Rocky and Rambo, watched nearby
“Hack off his arms and legs, his hands and feet!” they cried.
And thereafter their machetes reached into the skies—
thus, mutilation took place, as they grabbed the boy
by his stumps, and commenced to swung him like a monkey,
to and fro, then threw him over into a toilet pit as well:
as Little Boy Blue, shouted and howled!...
Little Boy Blue, a little boy who couldn’t even drag his big gun –
thereafter, came a unit of child soldiers, to beheaded him,
as if he was a worm…! (This is a true tale.)

It is said to know a man like Charles Taylor could have turned his country into a market economy, and done so good for his people. But he was greed like so many dictators, or folks in power, such as is happening now in South America. And has taken place in Eastern Europe. So many people going into power tell the people I want to change this and that for the people, to leave a good name, and once in power, they go out of control, as so many do. I see this in Peru, America, Venezuela, Bolivia, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and on and on I could go. The good thing is, they will be judged accordingly, and I guess that will have to suffice for the moment, and in time they are always replaced.
