War poem: Before Dawn in Iraq

Before Dawn in Iraq
(1-7-2009)(No: 2537)

Now breaks the night on Iraq and America
Over the heal of the world, I know
What bloods gleam on recording sands
(That page of Hell’s scrolls that lay so impure!)
So, dedicated to a race, a huge misfortune,
Men die, O America, that thou endure
O Liberty their eyes are obscure!
